Suck!

So, I decided today to ride my bike to chinese buffet since I had some cash and was hungry, always a good combination! I got about 75 yards away from my house when one of the pedals fell off of my bike, so I turned around and coasted back to my house, it turns out that the nut that held the pedal to the crankshaft was gone so I looked at the size of the threads and it looked to be the same as the nuts for the rims, so I took a nut off of my old bike and went to see if it would fit, but when I kneeled down to check to see if the nut would work I saw that the thread was damaged. Before the pedal came off it ground down part of the threading, so now I have to get an entire crankcase most likely, and when you add that to the fact that one of the gears in the back was missing teeth and if I take my bike in to be fixed I would want both problems to be fixed, I don't have the money for it. It really stinks because I was going to go riding to see where I could get to in 20-30 mins this week to apply for another job on top of detassling, hopefully one that would be flexible enough that they wouldn't mind me being gone for a week at the end of July.

It seems like everything I own is breaking down this year, my van died, my bike broke, my tube amp stopped working, my laptop has a hardware sound problem, and I stepped on a block of metal this afternoon and my foot hurts, so yeah, I'm a teeny bit miffed right now.

Man, with all the things that could go wrong with a tube amp....yours seems to have the strangest problems. Broken power switch, broken fuse holders. What ever happened to burned out tubes, broken tubes, melted resistors and dry capactitors????

Hope you can get it up and running
